Forensic Science deals with aspects like examining and gathering new information about the events that have occurred in the past. It has many applications- Forensic Psychology, Fingerprint Analysis, Fire Investigation, and Mobile Device Forensics.

The opportunities for a Forensic Scientist are many. A graduate can choose to work on the field or can have a desk job, depending on his/her preference. Forensic Scientists are responsible for gathering and investigating a crime scene. Alternatively, they can take up a job as an analyst who specialises in areas related to ballistics, ballistic fingerprinting, forensic statistics and body identification.
